This  Speckled beans commonly known as the Sugar bean is a legume.  Masavu - in the luganda local dielect, known as "sugar beans" because of their sweet taste. They can increase energy levels by helping to restore iron, which is a component of hemoglobin that transports oxygen to body cells.

They are high in fiber, protein, iron, and vitamins and minerals. Sugar beans can be used in soups, stews, and salads.
