About

Feeding the world and healing the soil one pulse at a time.

Pulses are the edible seeds from plants in the legume family. They grow in pods and appear in a broad variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) recognizes several types of pulses. These include dry beans, dry broad beans, dry peas, chickpeas, cow peas, pigeon peas, lentils, Bambara beans, vetches, and lupins. studies indicate that people who consume pulses daily have higher intakes of fiber, protein, calcium, potassium, folate, zinc, iron, and magnesium, as well as lower intakes of total and saturated fat. As such, they are recommended as part of a healthy diet in the national dietary guidelines of most countries. All our Pulses (legumes) are  Ecologically grown, by the smallholder farmers, and every purchase you make goes to strengthen the food systems and capacity of these farmers.
we are challenging the status quo for youth to consider agriculture as a business.
